This is the privacy policy for Printer Studio, the 3D printing settings, calibration, and filament reference app for iPhone and iPad by Sparky Venture Labs LLC. The core app works fully offline, and we keep data collection to the absolute minimum.

What we collect

For the core app, nothing. The 3D printer, filament, and slicer reference — the part you use every day — works fully offline with no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. Your favorites, exports, and selections are stored on your device.

Some features are optional and connect only when you choose to use them. The Connect feature (available in later versions) talks directly to a 3D printer on your own network — and, if you set one up, your own remote-access link; the printer's address and credentials stay on your device, and there is no server of ours in between. Optional maintenance reminders use local notifications on your device only. The app may refresh its printer- and filament-reference data from our website, and that request sends no personal information or identifiers. None of these features add an account, analytics, advertising, or tracking, and we will never sell your data.

Where your data lives

Your reference data, favorites, and exports are stored locally on your device. The core app does not need a network connection to function. If you use the Connect feature, your printer commands and status pass directly between your device and your printer — not to us. For any other optional feature, only the data that feature needs is used, nothing more, and only when you opt in.

Purchases

Printer Studio is free to download. It offers optional in-app purchases, handled entirely by Apple through the App Store: small tips that support development and unlock nothing, and — in versions that include the Connect feature — a one-time Connect unlock for live printer monitoring and control. We never see your payment details. Any billing or refund questions are managed by Apple under their standard terms.

Children's privacy

Printer Studio is a reference tool for 3D printing and is not directed at children under 13. The core app collects no personal information from anyone. Any optional online feature is designed for general audiences and is not intended for children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Our core commitment will not change: the everyday reference app stays offline and private, any online feature stays optional, we never sell your data, and we never add advertising.
